The refit of Goddards at Greenwich in King William Walk is nearly complete and the pie shop looks set to open by Wednesday or Thursday of next week. This weekend will be the last that they will be trading from their stall in Fountain Court.

Iti is so good to see Goddards back. My diet will have to go on hold. However, during my recent research into crime in Greenwich in the 18th and 19th centuries, ‘The Cricketer’s’ featured on numerous occasions with at least four murders within their walls. Perhaps a more aptly name would be ‘Sweeney Todds’???
