The Viewfinder Photography Gallery in Peyton Place is inviting people to submit a photo which will be displayed as part of its Open Salon 2009 project. Every image it receives will be shown between 9th Jan – 1st February.
The photo can be of any subject and its open to anyone to enter, be they professional or amateur snappers. There’s a £10 handling fee to support the gallery (which is an exempted charity) and the picture’s longest edge must be under 32 inches, and it must be provided ready to hang on the gallery’s walls, supplied with any hanging materials required.
Curator Louise Forrester said: “Open Salon 2006 was very exciting. This is a great opportunity for local photographers to show their work, and also for the gallery to raise funds to support future exhibitions.”
Photographs can be dropped off until 4pm on 4 January 2009 (sorry meant to post this up earlier!), at the Viewfinder Photography Gallery at Linear House in Peyton Place.
The exhibition itself runs from Saturday 9 January to Sunday 1 February 2009 with free admission.
